I have a deep love for writing stories that make you feel something. My debut YA novel, Awaken Persephone comes out January 9, 2026, and it is a mythic mash-up of romance, grief, and self-discovery with a healthy dose of dark humor.

By day, I run an elementary school library where I get to spark curiosity, wrangle robots, and convince small humans that reading is, in fact, magic. By night, after tucking my own small humans into bed, I trade in read-alouds for writing sessions.

I grew up in a small Texas town where everyone knew everyone—and now I write about girls who find themselves caught between worlds, gods, or ghosts, trying to figure out who they are and what they want. When I’m not writing, you can find me making my sweet husband watch Pride and Prejudice, The Tudors, or Haunting of Hill House for the millionth time, hanging out with our two kids, sending TikToks to my best friend Jenny like it’s a full-time job, or listening to My Chemical Romance like it’s still 2006.
